Ok all,

I've exhausted my resources here on the net. Am in Iraq and all my search engine stuff goes through the Netherlands. So as you know I can't do any shopping stateside.

Here is my dilemma. Am searching for an in dash replacement NAV/Satellite unit for my 2005 Mustang GT. My car is in the Elizabethtown Kentucky part of the world.

The units am looking for do NOT include the retractable screen.

Preferably looking at Kenwood, Pioneer, or Sony.

Thanks everyone

Thanks to my connections elsewhere I have found a replacement unit. Also a place place that performs the installations.

Thank you Elizabethtown KY for the emails. They were a big help in my decision. Grin

sorry for the delayed response.

Which unit did you choose?

Is your car a Shaker 500 or 1000? If so, do you know about the 5V regulator??

Thank you for the response,
The 2005 had too many issues with the shaker systems so went with the stock radio. Have not went with a unit as of yet. Wife is in dialog with our local insane audio shop and has been talking about some great ideas (kept secret from me).
So guess we both will know when I get back to the States in December.
