Power Steering Conversions 1970 302

I am seeking advice on converting a manual steering 1970 302 to a power or power assist system. I do not want to modify the chassis. The front end of the car is worn out. I want to replace everything from the brakes through the steering column. I am looking for a easy to manuever car at low speeds but retain road feel at higher speeds.

Please include name of conversion kit supplier and your experience with the conversion

I am in the same boat.  See my post on the Randall Rack, I was not impressed.   I did however rule them out.

My car is an original 120,000 mi car, but I have replaced the entire front with new parts. I did put in the Grab a Trac 1" lowering springs so far.  To date, the car has not yet been driven with the new parts.  In fact it is just now going back together for the first time in about three years.

I did talk to the Flaming River rep at a car show.  He told me that their pump is speed sensitive so not squirley at high speeds.  I have been told by one source that they have seal leaks, but I really question the sorce.  He has a 69 fastback that he just put in the Austrailian unit in.  He said he really checked them out.  It looked good, but he had to rig a GM pump and it just did not look that great.  His has a 351 in it.  His is like mine, just going back together and he has not driven it as yet.  I sure would like some feed back on this.  I have to say that the Flaming River unit looks good, I like the small pump.

Sure would like some feedback as I am about a month or so away also.

Any body familiar with the TCI unit.  I have heard good things about the company and owner.
