Hi I was wondering where you got the 2" drop spindles? Will they work with Granada disc breaks? I also have a 1965 coupe.

No. Leave the front stock and jack up the rear. Old school.

Your comment is ambiguous, so I cannot tell if you are mocking me or agreeing with ***
In either case, since I am 45, that is the way I did it when I was a kid and I still like it now. Hence, "Old School"!
I have never been impressed with the "slam it to the ground" concept. Same thing with big wheels and rubber band tires. Yuck.
But others find it cool and more power to them. They can do it their way and I will do mine my way. That is what the hobby is all about, isn't it?

I have a question about the 2" dropped spindles. Do you have clearance problems now? If so how did you deal with them? Also did you convert to disc brakes? I have a '69 302 Coupe and want to lower the car and convert to rack and pinion as well as disc brakes. None of the magazines offer a test or comparison of the suspension kits. All they do is have a shop install them and show pictures. Thanks

New to these Forums! So howz it goin'?? I have a '63 Ranchero, V8 with a 4 speed. Granada conversion up front. I took 620lb springs for a 'Stang that were supposed to drop the front 1.5". Wasn't enuff for me so I took the another coil off. Now it looks bad ass! I have a 1" lowering block in the rear but I think I can get away with another .5 to 1.0" and still have the "old skool" rake. I have a question though. Because of the extreme drop in the front, my shocks have very little to no travel. I've seen some interesting ways of dealing with this issue and I'm wondering how you might have dealt with it. I'll apologize now for stealing the thread if I have Might as well get off on the right foot!
