I am restoring my 71 mustang F/B my front end is sitting to high it was 31" I changed the coil springs its sitting at 30" now from fender to ground my rear is 29" from fender to ground do you no what its supposed to be sitting or how I can find out or do you have any ideas what I can do to lower the front any help would be appreciated

Make sure the spring saddle is installed correctly. The tab side that the end of the spring contacts should be toward the inner fender. Did you check the control arms for binding when the springs were out? Where did you buy the springs - lots of cheap springs from overseas are pretty poor quality and the rate is real iffy.

saddle installed correctly but i didn't check the control arms springs were made in u.s.a
i think im just going to cut a coil off

That may do it. Just remember that cutting coils increases the spring rate, so it's a process of diminishing returns.
