After a 3 day thrash to get the drive train up and running. All kinds of little stuff just makes you crazy - #3 header tube hits the frame rail, carefully wired fan electrics made the fans run backwards, fabbing radiator mounts, leaky fuel lines, etc.
After two soft test passes, I let her run it out - car ran 7.90 @ 87, 7.92 @ 87 and an aborted 7.91. Tranny not shifting right on the 2-3 so we'll probably go to a manual valve body to fix that permanently. Car's got a new 9" (4.56) and a fresh 351C, so now all she needs is paint. And new slicks. Maybe now I can work on the Falcon for a while.

Looks good man. Consistent low 7.90s. Very nice.

![]() Broke in good now - ran 7.75s this weekend @ 88 MPH. The horse is flyin' now.

Very cool. It's cool to see an early Mustang at the strip and not in a bubble or on a trailer.
Not that I mind those, its just nice to see one being used on the track.
