I have a 1983 GLX 5.0 4spd Convert. It is Dark Academy Blue with Light Academy blue interior with white top. Car is original except for the 8.8 3.27 Motorsport rear axle. I blew out the original 7.5. Car is a parade queen but is starting to show its age. I would consider selling it to a good respectable home if the price is right. With 64K miles (original) it should'nt be too difficult. Reply to the post if interested or want to compare.

yeah, I'd like to see some pics, too. I almost bought a convert '83, b/c they were relatively rare...until it spat oil out the exhaust on my hand during the initial start up. At least the owner was semi-honest, admitting he wasn't going to bother getting it registered. No wonder...it wasn't going to pass emissions w/ bad valve guides.
isn't that 4 speed the SROD, the single rail over drive? about as strong as the 7.5 inch rear axle? Still regret not getting that car, but I needed something for driving, not rebuilding. ended up w/ my 86 GT solid roof, can't complain
