I have a 66 Mustang with 2" drop and have fit problems with front tires rubbing the front of the wheel wells. I have VWW V-45 15x7 wheels and BFG 225/60/15 tires and just took off AR TT II 17x7 with 235/45/17 tires which also rubbed. It seems that the wheels are not centered in the wheel wells.
I just bought the car and have not had this bad of problem with my other 66 stangs.
