Does anyone know if a 1967 Cowl Assembly will fit a 1966 Mustang and what is the difference between the two? I called CJ Pony Parts and they said they don't have any in stock for the '66 and the one for a '67 is a different part number. I don't want to buy a '67 if it isn't going to fit. Thanks

I actually joined this site for the same reason. I need a 1966 cowl assembly and can't find one either. Any help on this subject would be awesome. Thanks

I was told recently that Dynacorn was coming out with the complete '65-'66 cowl tank. I would contact them and find out when the release date is for it.

They will fit but there are differences in appearance for the upper cowl. Lower cowl is also different but fits fine and no-one will ever see the difference since it is covered by the upper. Desert valley auto parts in Arizona sold me a used 65 cowl assembly with a dash assembly for $500, no rust at all. They just cut the whole thing out of the car. Shipping was $125. This is the way to go if you want a quality repair.
