If you could, give us more information, what size engine, how many blades on the fan, the diameter of the fan, etc.

The original is likely a 4 blade "X" looking item. Not much to it. There are many and varied replacement types, including shrouds, should you need more air flow that what the stocker provides. 14~16" would be about right for a 66 as the radiator is probably no more than 20 x 17 anyway.

Even the basics would help here. Is it an inline six or a V-8 engine? Can you provide us with some pictures?
More importantly, why are you concerned about the fan? Are you having cooling problems or does the size of the fan bother you?
