I've been reading here and there about how easy it is to put a t5 in an early model mustang so here's my question...I have a 69 Grande with a C4 and a 89 roller block pushing somewhere between 350-400hp (not rwhp). I have a 88 T5 I bought from a friend, he said it has been modded with some beefier stuff in it, nothin major...how easy/exspencive and or is it worth it to do the T5 swap....or should I just stick with my C4?   I paid $400 for the T5-in complete working order with a B&M shifter.

I have switched from an auto tranny to a t-5 set-up. I had it converted by a professional and it is pricey but well worth it. About $2000 excluding the t-5 and bellhousing. Make sure that the t-5 fits the v-8 block. Theres t-5s for v-6 out there so check your tranny's id.
