1971 ford f100 has no brake lights all other lights work

Check/replace the switch on the pedal arm.

I've also seen the pedal switch wiring connector fail (broken wire inside the insulation) from years of pedal movement. Find the switch Falcon67 mentioned at the top of your brake pedal and inspect the wiring too. You should have a hot wire (green most likely) and a cold wire. The cold wire will go hot and feed the tail lamps when you apply pressure to the brake pedal.
