I had a nice bowl of Fruit Loops and some quick-serve sausage biscuits, all washed down with a glass of Florida OJ!

How about you?

Oh man that sounds delicious! I only had a swig of V8, some cranberry sauce left over from Thanksgiving, a doughnut hole from Tim Hortons and an Oreo. Fruit Loops?! Too awesome!

Hey there Sigillbe, thanks for registering (and replying)...

Mmmm...

Tim Hortons, you must be from "up north"...

They're building a Krispy Kreme near my house and that's all I need. When that light's on it's like the Bat signal to me! LOL!

Have a good day!

An AlphaBits/Cheerios mix with a banana. And coffee - lots of that.  That's the "new gen" AlphaBits, the ones that have more fiber and taste stale fresh out of the box, not the good old loaded up with sugar kind.  Bought as a test - they failed.  Bummer!

They messed with the old AlphaBits?!? What a crime as I used to love that stuff. What's next? They gonna make Apple Jacks whole grain with little chunks of tree bark?

Apparently, I got semi-revised, "limited edition".  It had 12 grams of sugar per serving.  The new stuff has zero grams.  That HAS to be nasty LOL.

Alpha Bits
Read the sorry reviews at Amazon (they sell cereal??)

Ha! A pack of five for $23.35? Sounds like everybody hates the stuff - I liked this quote:

Newsflash: Cheerios are *good*. I can actually stand to put them in my mouth, either dry or with milk. This new iteration of Alpha Bits, on the other hand, is just plain *evil*.

Maybe it can be used for soaking up oil spills in the shop...

Yesterday, it was Honey Nut Cheerios.

Today was Nutrigrain waffles.

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day!

I agree. If I don't get breakfast you better not get near me until lunch!

I hear ya on the "Bits" Falcon67, do you remember when the cereal names actually had "sugar" or "Frosted" in their names. Names like Sugar Smacks, etc. Now it all has to be low-fat, sugar free, and tastes like cardboard. Man, getting old sucks!

Yep. I was getting pretty hacked off when I couldn't find the marshmallow Alpha Bits anymore.  Ah, well - low fat, low sugar and low cholesterol are the order of the day. Got to watch my BP - diastolic is about the same as cold oil pressure in the 351C and systolic is a bit high LOL.  I lost 30 lbs over the last year and have a 7 year old grandson that I have to keep up with.  He's a flag football dynamo - if I had his energy everything thing around here would be finished up in a week.   Papa has to stay in shape for those bone crunching pass/tackle games on the living room floor.

Now THAT's a breakfast of champions right there Toby! LOL!

I had some stupid Saab convertible rev up on me last night on the way home. Unreal. I could have taken him easily I'm sure, but street racing is not for me. Plus, the interstate was packed, which just made me realize what a moron the Saab owner was!
