i made the front disc break swap using a '74 maverick as the donor. do i need to buy a tie rod for a maverick or just shave off a little of the adjuster sleeve? also, will the proportioning valve i got from the maverick work, or will a need an after market valve that adjusts?
thanks for your help

Helps to know the target car. In most cases, the donor prop valve works fine. you should use the outer tie rod end for the donor so that the taper matches the spindle mount.
