Mark - FWIW. I'm experimenting with YouTube for videos from our drag strip. So far, it's a better/easier way to get video to folks without a lot of work on a parent site. You could create a YouTube account, put the link (even using a cool graphic) in a post to the YouTube page and then have the web guy make that post a "sticky".
Here's an example from the track web site I maintain at http://abilenedragstrip.com
![]()
Once you set up a YouTube page, people can then apply to be your "friend" and subscribe to your "channel". For example, if I subscribe to your channel, when you post new videos I get a heads up. People can click through to the friends sites and pick up their video also. The URL will be easy to remember - something like http://youtube.com/mustangandfords
Shoot me a PM for details.

I'd love to. But corporate won't let us. We've tried to talk them into it but they want control of the video content so they can put the logo on it and it becomes part of their SEO (search engine optimization)...
Lots of corporate hoops to jump through. Trust me when I say my hands are tied. I'll probably post a link to a remote video from time to time, but for the most part they'll have to be posted here. Thanks for the thought though...

Well - it was an idea. Gotta play by the rules.
