Other than my splitting headache that I have now from all the fools playing their not sounding so great systems in their hoo-rides, it was a good night. I enjoyed talking with a few members up at the sonic meet this evening and also meeting with a few that I haven't seen before. Seems to be an alright crowd and since I was told about the site, I figured why not come check it out. I hope to meet more of you in the near future. Thanks for the welcome

Welcome to our forum Copycat. Can you tell us where you're from and what Sonic meet this was? Just curious who's spreading the word about the forum. Great bunch of guys/gals here, both classic and late model, to help with upgrades, questions, and just generally bench race and bs with. Hope to see more posts from you and again, welcome!

WOWzers!! I was beginning to think this was a dead forum, but thank you for the welcome. I am from Jacksonville, FL and I was actually introduced to this site by a (just messing with him) gentleman who drives a SLOW green lx who is often referred to as Dave =) The sonic on Beach Blvd is where I was located this past weekend, and quite frankly I never want to go back; it was that bad!!

Early part of the week is always rough for me to get on the forum. Lots of Monday stuff to deal with and I was out of the office Friday (flew to VA to help my brother with his new car project, a '64 Iso Rivolta).
Anyway, welcome and thanks to Dave for pointing you to our forum. Please add your '90 to our Reader's Ride section, where you can create your own "garage" and post photos of your cars. We'd all like to see it. I'm actually thinking of a 331/turbo setup for my '90 in a year or two to replace my tired N/A 347...
Take care... Mark

Thanks again.
Did you get a bunch accomplished this weekend on your brother's car? Is he just doing a standard restoration or is it custom. Setting it up for the road course or just show? What motor is he putting in it? Those are nice cars BTW.
I appreciate you letting me in on that. Didn't realize you could do such on this site. Very cool! Not 100% complete with the project, but getting very very close. Few miscellaneous cosmetics to deal with yet and it will be ready for initial startup.

If you are familiar with the Iso, then you know it is powered by a GM Corvette 327. He's rebuilding the 327 with aluminum heads, roller cam, and a set of Webers in a cross-ram manifold setup (very trick looking)...
The car will look stock, with the original Borani wire wheels, etc. but we're probably going to upgrade the Lucas wiring to Painless, maybe put a TKO in it in place of the B/W 4-speed, stuff like that to make it a more reliable and enjoyable weekend driver for him.
