Hi, Im new to the site and new to mustangs. I purchased a 65 mustang coupe a few months ago and have decided to restomod it. The first thing on the agenda is to replace the I6 and 4 spead manual trans. After reading a few articles on the site I know that I have to change the suspension to that of a V8 mustang. Also I have to replace the rear axle to that of a V8. While Im at it, articles recommend I change to disk brakes and make all four tires 5 lug, not just the rear. Can anyone point me in the right direction to at least start getting the parts together? Will any carbureted 5.0 swap in? I have other questions but for now would just be lead in the right direction or educated a little more.
