That's a casting number and you probably mean 9425?  

D0 - 1970
A - Full size
E - Engine group
9425 - intake manifold
L - revision level

That's all that number says.  

There will be a block casting number over the starter, that would help a little more.  Heads should have a "4" cast in the corners where the valve cover attach.  Intake is probably an iron 4V from a 70 or 71.  

You sure it isn't -9424-, as that's Ford's base PN for an intake manifold...

D0AE denotes 1970 (D is decade, 0 is year)Ford car line engine part...

What you need is to find the similar number on the block itself, cast in just above the starter mount. That'll allow you to find out more about the engine block's oriignal ID/Specs...

Thank you for the information.  I am going to look for the other numbers so that you can tell me more about my 351C.  I rebuilt her myself about 25 yrs ago and just didn't have the knowledge base I needed to know about her specs.
