Could someone please help me? I am putting together a 351W and have a question about the head gaskets. Both the front and rear of the heads and the block have a retangular, sort of odd shaped water inlet. All the gaskets I have or have looked at only have these features on one end and the other is covered up by the gasket. Is this correct or do I need to open up all 4 inlets? Thanks for your help, Mark

The gaskets are correct. The gaskets are labeled FRONT and should be installed as indicated. If you get them backwards or modify the gaskets, you will be guaranteed to have overheating problems.
The holes in the gaskets are designed to route water in the block and heads correctly. Be sure the decks of the block and heads are absolutely clean and try not to touch the gasket surface or the decks when installing.

Thanks a million. That is what I was thinking but not sure of. Do not need any overheating problems. Thanks Again.
