I have a 84 351w. i would like to use it in my 74 LTD. it now has a 400M with a C6. can the winsor bolt up to the C6.   V.H.Y

No, sorry - the bellhousings are different.  You need a C4 or a small block type C6.

The windsor and the 351M/400 are different bolt patterns for the trans.
