I've checking prices for Ford parts lately and they seem to be going up quite dramatically in some cases. Exhaust headers that were $600 going for $900, heck even oil filters that were $15 going for $30 - does anybody else notice this? Changed the oil on my old station wagon recently and never remember paying that much for a filter? Maybe I'm just cracked?

Everything is going through the roof. Anything that comes in a truck (everything) has to absorb the current diesel prices. Steel scrap is running about 7.50 a lb now, 2 years ago it was around 3.50. Steel is getting danged expensive. Petroleum products - ouch. Each hotrod hold 8 quarts of VR-1 at 5$ a pop, then the Ranger takes 5 and the F-150 takes 6. A mondo Saturday oil-change-fest requires a re-fi. We should have bought a roll cage for the Mustang last fall when they were $139 as they now run about $169. Figure $120 for shipping the thing too.
We're about ready to go to the bracket finals, that's a 6 1/2 hour tow. Should be the most expensive finals trip yet.
