I am looking into buying a 2005 and up mustang v6 5 speed, and I am wondering what the actual highway milage is. I drive at least 700 miles a week. Is there ways to improve the mileage ? Bolt on parts, computer tune rear gear, etc ? Any info would be great. Thanks, GARY

driving habbits control a lot of the fuel economy..
if you race it around... it will take more gas...
if you drop back in traffic... and maintain a steady speed... you will not only get better mileage... but will improve traffic flow behind you...
when i say drop back... i mean .. try to maintain a speed to stretch out the stop and go , stop and *** if you race up and slam on the brakes.. you have to accelerate all over again.... taking more gas...
keeping in the lower gears in traffic.. lets you idle along... without bogging the motor when you have to speed up a ***
hope this helps...
oh... and once in a while... after every hundred thousand miles or so... change the coolant temp sensor, the air temp sensor.. the thermostat... when they wear and start to get out of range.. the fuel economy can drop... or do it when the water pump gets changed...
