Can anyone give me info on the specs for my 65 Fairlane??

camber.... left... 1/2 degree positive right 1/4 degree positive..
(tires leaning out a tiny bit at the top.. but not noticeable, the left keeps the car from drifting to the right do to the crowns on the roads...)
caster... 2 degrees negative. if you can crank that much into it...
(the upper ball joint will be behind the lower so the wheels will lean into the turn... makes them go around corners better..)
toe in... 1/8" to 3/16" measured 6 inches up. from the ground.. this varies do to how much play there might be in your steering linkage and suspension
hope this helps.... and it is not what the factory called for... that was before cars were designed to go around corners well... or wide tires.....
be sure that you check the strut rod mounting boxes... they sometimes come loose...

Thanks, I'll pass these along to Goodyear. Their charts don't go back that far.

-2 caster? It'll drive like a waterbed. You would do better to dial in as much + caster as you can, +1 better than nothing, 2.5~3 best.

Falcon67,, I did find specs in my repair manual. Caster is listed as -1 to +1. What will staying on the + side do for me?? thanks
