Review the pictures here: http://bradbarnett.net/mustangs/timeline/71-73/73/index.htm
All the Mach 1s are fastback cars.

Welcome to the forums and to the world of Mustang ownership DHawthorne15...
As Falcon67 has linked to, the SportsRoof cars (they aren't called fastbacks after 1968) all have the sloping rear roof line like the Mach 1 trim level. The SportsRoof's expansive rear glass is also a dead giveaway, just like the earlier fastbacks when comparing to a coupe/hardtop.
Please post some photos of your new pride and joy and let us know what your plans are for it...

Ok, that makes much more sense. The car is actually in Phoenix and I wont actually have possesion of it until I get this 72 Monte Carlo sold that I have in my garage so maybe in about 2 weeks.

Ok the car just arrived and its great!! Just wondering though, did was tilt steering an option back in 73? I'm looking to replace the steering wheel cause its borderline broken and there is no horn button but wanted to see if its even the right steering column. It is also a chore to get in the car as I have to squeeze underneath the wheel.
