HELP PLEASE, CAN I GET A DETAILED EXPLANATION HOW TO UNINSTALL THE IGNITION SWITCH ASSEMBLY? ALREADY TOOK THE CYLINDER OUT.TXS A LOT.

REMOVAL & INSTALLATION
Lock Cylinder Replacement
1964-69 MODELS
1.) Insert the key and turn to ACC position.
2.) With a stiff wire in the hole, depress the lockpin and rotate the cylinder counter-clockwise,
then pull out the cylinder.
Ignition Switch Replacement
1964-69 MODELS
1.) Remove the cylinder as above.
2.) Press in on the rear of the switch and rotate the switch one-eighth turn counter-clockwise. Remove the bezel, switch, and spacer.
3.) Remove the nut from the back of the switch. Remove the accessory and gauge feed wires from the accessory terminal. Pull the insulated plug from the rear of the switch.
4.) Install in the reverse of above.

Couldn't have explained it better myself! Good job Steve...
As for grabbing he switch it is sometimes easier to remove the gauge cluster to reach the switch itself...
