I like the look of the Shaker on any Ford that can make use of it. I have an '86 stang that is getting the final stages of it's engine swap to a 3.8 SC done. I am inquiring from anyone here on this site if there is a Shaker System out there that I could use on a stock 1989 Ford 3.8SC. Yes, it is the engine complete out of a SuperCoupe T-Bird. I want to know if it can be done. The engine is fuel injected. I just want to know what kind of road I need to go down to make it happen. Either be able to buy aftermarket or have one fabricated. In simple terms is there a Shaker System I can use on a 3.8 SC or do I have to get one fabricated? Thanks

I think you're pretty much on your own with this. You can either use a reproduction fiberglass unit and cut/modify to work, or one of the CDC shaker assemblies, but you'll hardly use any of the kit's componenets. Maybe CDC will sell you just the main shaker scoop for you to fab your own mounting?
Good luck with it and please post photos and details of the engine swap. I always thought the SC engine would be great in a classic Mustang or other Ford...
