I was just curious to see if anyone knew of a key pad ignition system that could be used on my 05 gt? I have seen it on a few cars like audi and bmw but wondered if they had an aftermarket one that could be used on other cars.

I've not seen an aftermarket keypad device for ignition, unless you count the optional touch screen interface for the ISIS system (www.isispower.com), which requires the whole ISIS wiring system to work.

There are several push start button kits out there and RF technology based systems out there (key fob in pocket, just get in the car and push a button to start). The first that comes to mind is Flaming River, but there are others...

Have you tried looking through some street rod magazines? This is where many of these items start and then trickle down to our cars...

HTH...
