I have a neighbor that just drives a 1968 mustang coupe with a 351 windsor v-8 and yet its been having problems...the car starts right up...idles good...but when you give it some gas...it sputters really bad and tends to stall up hill

any answers ???

he also drives a 1991 mustang LX Hatchback with a 5.0L cobra v-8 thats being used a replacement...after the motor was installed.. it tends to run really rough and tends to chug under slight acceleration but yet after a period of time the cars runs like nothing was wrong and then go backs to sounding terrible...
