1966 mustang power booster question.

I currently have a '66 mustang 289 V8 with power front disc brakes. I have 7" power booster with a dual reservior master cylinder. My stopping power compared to manual drum brakes is noticeable but not as much as I originally thought.
I see that on ebay there is a 7 1/2" vacuum assisted power booster with a dual reservior master cylinder.
Is a vacuum assisted power booster better than the power booster currently in my car?
According to the listing,
"The booster is a dual diaphragm unit with will generate in excess of 1100psi brake line pressure from the dual circuit master cylinder"
The system is $250, is it worth it?
Thanks.

If you have a 7-inch booster on your car now it SHOULD have a vacuum line going to it as well. If not, that is part of your problem with your brakes...
Increasing the booster diameter a half inch I really don't think is going to give you that much more assist.
Now the booster you have may not be a dual diaphgram unit though. Can you provide the info on the conversion kit you have now installed? Brand, or part number?

I bought the MP Brakes, 4 pistion power brakes. I get a lot of brake squealing when I press the brake pedal. The rotots and pads and calipers are good, so I don't know why I still get the squealing.
I do have a vacuum attached to the back of the manifold. Thanks.
Help with squealing?

MSTG, the squealing could be nothing more than the type of pad used. If you opted for performance metallic pads or if that is the default pad style for the kit, you could simply be experiencing the metallic pad noise on the rotor. Call Master Power to confirm the pads shipped with the kit and find out the OE application for them, then you could swap to organic pads for less noise/dust...
