I have a 9 inch disk brake rear from a 78 Granada Ghia, is this a bolt in replacement for a 66 coupe that came with an 8 inch or will I have to make mods.

Maybe - the Granda rear is likely about 1" wider than your 66 stock rear, also it depends on where the spring perches are located on the axle.  Another issue you may have will be with the drive shaft, depending on whether the 9" has a long or short yoke and how that mates to the 66 shaft.  You may also need an adapter u-joint.  Randys and FRPP carry the Ford swap u-joint that lets you convert from a 8" shaft to a 9" rear if it's needed.
