I just got a 1966 Mustang - without brake lights.  I checked the brake light switch and found zero wires attached, and nothing nearby with spade connectors to fit.  Were the wires connected via pigtails that plugged in somewhere else or did they go directly into the wiring harness?  There are two in-line plug connectors nearby - one light green, one light blue.  Given the overall good condition of the car, I would be surprised is someone had simply cut them off, but who knows?

Thanks,

You can ignore this.  I found the wiring diagrams and then found the mating block for the connector stuffed over the steering column.  All is well with the brake lights.

Glad to hear you got your brake lights back. Enjoy the car and welcome to the forum!
