I was thinking earlier what I want to do to my 69 fastback

I am wondering whether I can run a 4th Gen. front disc brake setup on my 69 Mustang without any major problems, it so I was wondering if you could tell me what all I'll need off of the donor car to complete the build.

Also , I'm gonna do a 1 inch drop in front 1.5 or 2 inch in rear (if you could tell me which is best to make the stance the best) with JEGS Sport Star Cast Aluminum Wheels or American Racing Outlaw II's

If anyone is wondering what I'm running is a 302 out of an 87 GT with an aluminum intake and 2 barrel, unknown internals but its got porting polishing and a thumper cam in its future, with a FMX transmission, any suggestions for little to no cash to help improve it will be greatly appreciated

Thanks for any help you can be to me, so I can get my Grabber Blue beast moving again!

on the disc brakes...   do your research.. there are a few applications that will fit for the rear..  depending on if you have a big bearing axle end or a small bearing axle end...

for the front.. there are a bunch of kits available.. some very cheep..

you might really want to type in disc brakes in the search window above right.. then after the first search.. pull down the new centered search window to performance group... and search again..  you will find several dozen articles on disc brakes.. from the many automotive magazines...

there are 4 mustang specific magazines plus a whole bunch more that also cover various cars and fords..

the front suspension is specific to 69 to 71 or so mustang and torino variants..  so you might want to really research what disc brakes you are planning to get disc off of..  so you don't end up with problems

oh... and the 87 5.0  has a different balance than the 70 302.. so a different flex plate is needed to keep you from shaking your car when its running... a different harmonic damper also...

did you 69 302 version come with a FMX.. can you count the pan bolts.. as most of the 302's came with a C4..
