Read the 363 vs. 363: The Final Chapter.

Interesting story, but it left me hanging.

The tall deck Windsor gave up 28 horsepower and 19 lb/ft of torque compared to the short deck version. The engine builder also was quoted, "Still there were variables out of our control, making us question the results."

Any clues as to what those variables might have been? Did rod length, ratio or stroke and piston speed influence power results?

Inquiring minds would like to know.

363 vs 363: The final chapter Addendum

Is MM&FF ever going to post dyno numbers for the short and tall deck 363s and show where the torque and horsepower peaks are? And also see where the torque plateaus extend.

Or is this top secret like details on the Benghazi attack?

And can we have a numerical dyno chart and not the crappy line dyno charts in the magazine where you can never see what the power is at a given rpm.
