Strut tower brace

I have a 2008 Shelby GT and I am looking at adding the Ford Racing intake and hot rod cams. Does anyone know if the Ford Racing strut tower brace will still fit with the Ford Racing intake. If not is there a strut tower brace that will work with the new intake and factory hood.
Thanks

The stock FRPP brace used on the Shelby GT will NOT clear the FRPP manifold you are considering.

You have a couple of options though. Look for the 2012 Boss 302 brace, as it is taller and designed to clear the Boss manifold, or go aftermarket with one from Steeda. The Steeda brace is made to clear as well.

Mark, thanks for the reply. I was looking at the Steeda brace and was going to give them a call to check if it would work for me. I was surprise it was cheaper than the Ford Racing brace. Also I heard that a V6 brace would clear the Ford Racing intake. Do you know anything about that?

Thanks
Tony

I have heard, but not confirmed that the V-6 brace and the Boss brace are one in the same, so it makes sense it would clear the intake as well. The V-6 brace is used on convertibles and with the performance package, so you might find one as a take off or through a salvage yard (hit in the rear is best bet).
